Student Information & Resources
The ICCOC is committed to student success. We want to ensure that online learning is for you. Although our online courses provide a convenient way for you to pursue your educational goals, please note that our online courses are not self-paced.
Accommodations
Students who need and request academic accommodations for their online courses must have a Student Accommodations Plan established at their home college.
Students are required to follow the policies/guidelines established at their home college; therefore, each college's documentation requirements and process will vary slightly.
Faculty and staff must complete the steps outlined in the Academic Accommodations Process before any accommodations are granted to online students.
Proctoring
Some instructors require quizzes/exams to be proctored within a course.
A proctor or proctoring service administers your exam or quiz while you are taking the exam.
If a course requires you to find a proctor at a physical location or to use the proctoring service provided by the ICCOC (Honorlock) , the instructor will provide this information in the syllabus.
